"Jingle Bells"
The 2024 Texas Capitol Ornament is a shiny silver jingle bell featuring the iconic Capitol dome finished in 24k gold on a field of silver and blue Texas stars, all wrapped in a festive blue bow with sprigs of Yaupon Holly. The red berries, white accents, blue ribbon and green holly leaves represent the Texas holiday spirit.
The foliage embellishing the ornament is inspired by the Yaupon Holly that can be found on the west Capitol Grounds. This widely recognizable evergreen holly with its bright red berries is one of approximately twenty-five historically significant tree species in the Texas Trail of Trees.
