Description

This is one of the most influential maps of Mexico, Texas, and the Southwest. According to Texas bibliographer Thomas W. Streeter, this map is considered one of the six most important maps of Texas. This large atlas map was the standard view of the region for almost 30 years. Humboldt’s map contains a vast amount of information covering natural formations, native tribes, and other settlements in the region.
