Drawn by cartographers Richard S. Hunt and Jesse F. Randel, this map was compiled using surveys from the General Land Office of the Republic. The map shows Coushatta and Towash Indian villages, Enchanted Rock and indicates the western boundary of the Mexican State of Texas prior to the Revolution.
