Description

Twohig House on the Banks of the San Antonio River was the residence of John Twohig, a San Antonio merchant. In 1941, it was moved to the grounds of the Witte Museum in San Antonio. Artist Robert Jenkins Onderdonk was part of the Art Students League of New York before moving to San Antonio in 1878. He also lived in Dallas between 1889 and 1895, making his living teaching and selling paintings.
